小兄弟會【方濟會】盧天和神父兄弟【Reverend Friar Efren Lim Ojeda OFM】，於 2025年11月22日中午，在九龍伊利莎白醫院，因病由死亡姊妹接返天父懷抱。
1959年6月28日，盧神父兄弟生於菲律賓的虔誠公教家庭，進會前是註冊會計師。1992年在馬尼拉聖伯多祿洗者會省被收錄入會， 1993年宣發初願，1996年宣發隆重聖願，2000年晉鐸。除牧靈工作外，曾在該會省任培育師及總務長達九年。2010年，蒙聖神感召來港服務。2013年，正式加入中華之后會省。對內，曾任香港兩所會院的院長及總務。對外，在聖文德堂、在俗方濟會、菲僑牧民、南丫島佳蘭會隱修院提供英語牧靈，同時協助聖文德堂的粵語彌撒，且與同會兄弟共同負責避靜服務等。
熱愛音樂的盧神父兄弟，以25年的鐸職服務，33年的小兄弟獻身生活，完成了希望朝聖者的66年旅程，偕同方濟大家庭諸聖一起在天上詠唱〈造物讚〉。
小兄弟會謹定於 2025年 12月12日星期五晚上8時，在慈雲山聖文德堂為盧神父兄弟舉行守靈祈禱。並於翌日12月13日星期六早上 9時30分，在同一地點舉行逾越聖祭，隨即下葬於跑馬地聖彌額爾墳場。
懇請主內兄弟姊妹，為新亡者祈求慈悲的天父，牽引盧天和神父兄弟進入永遠的安息。
Rest in the Lord’s Embrace
Our brother, Reverend Friar Efren Lim Ojeda, OFM, was called home to the Father’s arms by our Sister Bodily Death at noon on 22 November 2025 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hong Kong.
Fr. Efren was born on 28 June 1959 to Alejandro and Donata, in a devout Catholic family in Tondo, Manila, the Philippines. He has worked for many years as a professional accountant in the world after graduating from University of the East. In 1992, he received the Franciscan habit in the Province of St. Pedro Bautista (Manila) of the Order of Friars Minor and began consecrated life. He made his first profession in 1993, solemn profession in 1996, and was ordained to the priesthood in 2000. He had served his mother Province as a Provincial Bursar and Assistant Formator for ten years. Moved by the Holy Spirit, he came to Hong Kong in 2010 to become a missionary. Here, he carried out administrative duties as Guardian and Bursar, in the local friary and, in 2013, was formally transferred to the Province of Our Lady Queen of China so that he might serve in Hong Kong with even greater commitment. Over the years, he ministered in English at St. Bonaventure Church, to the Secular Franciscan Order, pastoral care to the Filipino migrant community, and at the Poor Clares Monastery on Lamma Island. He also assisted with Cantonese Masses at St. Bonaventure and, together with his brothers, offered retreat ministry.
After 25 years of priestly service and more than 33 years of faithful consecrated life according to the spirit of St Francis, our brother Efren, a pilgrim of hope, completed his earthly journey of 66 years and now sings the Canticle of the Creatures in heaven together with all the Seraphic saints, continuing his musical praises.
The vigil will be held on Friday, 12 December 2025, at 8:00 p.m. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated the following day, Saturday, 13 December, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Bonaventure Church, Tsz Wan Shan, followed immediately by burial at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Happy Valley.
